This is one of those delicious recipes that is perfect for meal prep so you always have a side of marinara sauce on hand.
These Easy Keto Pizza Dippers are the perfect size not only for an easy snack, but also for a fun lunch idea!
Wether during the school year, or summertime, fun finger foods are a good lunch for the entire family to enjoy!
You will find out that having a keto pizza bite instead of an old peanut butter and jelly makes a cold lunch a lot more interesting for sure!
This is a great thing since coming up with new ideas when you make your own lunches gets tricky when you need something low carb and keto.
Let me show you how truly easy it is to mix up these healthy pizza dippers in one bowl!
Then I go over ways to customize them and get them all ready for your lunch boxes or picnics you have planned!
Basic Ingredients you need to make these Easy Pizza Dippers Recipe
- Almond Flour
- Baking Powder
- Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Powder
- Heavy Cream
- Large Eggs ; whisked
- Shredded Mozzarella
- Salt
- Parmesan
- Pepperoni Slices; cut into fourths

Let’s make some Pepperoni Pizza Dippers!
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees F and prepare a 12 cup muffin tin.
Line your muffin pan with silicone liners or well greased paper liners and set aside.

In a large bowl add the almond flour, baking powder, salt and Italian Seaoning.
Whisk it very well so you avoid having any clumps of almond flour.
Now start adding in your wet ingredients.starting with the whisked eggs, then heavy cream.
Mix the pizza dipper recipe well so everything is as smooth as possible.
Now stir in a half cup of parmesan cheese or romano cheese, along with 2 cups of shredded mozzarella.
This is an ample amount of mozzarella cheese, but it helps to act as a binder in the muffins so they hold together well.
Let the pizza dipper batter sit for 10 minutes for the almond flour to soak up the liquids.
This helps in the long run to avoid a soggy mess.
Once it has had time to sit and thicken up, fold in your chosen additions.
We love pepperoni around here so I stick to a cup of chopped pepperoni slices.
I used what I had on hand, but pepperoni sticks cubed, or even turkey pepperoni work too.
Keep the additions to one cup so the baking cups are not overfilled.
Now get your prepared muffin pan and fill each well 3/4 of the way full.
Bake the Keto Pizza Dippers in a 350F conventional oven for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and not wet to touch in the middle.
Cool 10 minutes on a wire rack.
Allowing them to cool will help them set up.

Get a small bowl of some Keto Marinara Sauce and dip to eat!
If you are not a fan of using your hands, you can easily put on a plate and covering with sauce to eat with a fork.
Keep any leftovers in an airtight container up to 5 days in the fridge.
You can freeze them after cooling in the fridge overnight.
Once cooled overnight they will set up properly.
Place on a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour.
Then put all in a large freezer bag.
Keep up to 1 month in the freezer for best texture.
Thaw in fridge overnight, or pack your lunch with a frozen Keto Pizza Dipper and it will be thawed by lunchtime!

Here are some great tips and ideas for substitutions to consider!
- Turn these into some garlic cheese bites when you leave out the pepperoni and add in some garlic and your favorite cheese. I would recommend cheddar cheese.
- Try folding in chunks of mozzarella cheese sticks or your favorite string cheese for pockets of cheese.
- Instead of sauce, try an herbed olive oil dip. It is a great keto alternative recipe to carb laden bread.
- Use the recipe for Keto Pizza Sauce from my Keto Pizza Recipe post. It has a stronger herb flavor than my Keto Marinara Sauce Recipe.
- They make the perfect after-school snack as kids can easily warm them up from the fridge in the microwave for 2 minutes.
- You can make the dough up ahead of time as well and store in the fridge up to 48 hours. Scoop the dough up and add in your favorite pizza toppings right before baking. This allows for you to change it up as you like, or to accomodate any picky eater!
- Try some crumbled ground beef as your mix in with the pepperoni or as a stand alone ingredient.
- Make these Vegetarian Pizza Dippers when you use chopped green peppers or red bell peppers plus onions. I would caution against using any veggies that are wet or smooshy because they will not set up well and prevent the dipper from forming correctly.
- This is also a delicious recipe to make for a weekend movie night along side some different dips to make it fun! Try alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, or maybe some vodka cream pasta sauce to dip them in.
- Turn these into Pepperoni Parmesan Pizza Dippers when you cover each Pizza Dipper with a generous amount of parmesan. This creates a crispy top that creates a great salty crunch! Try to not use more than 1/2 cup of cheese in total as a topping or it may burn. You just want a teaspoon sprinkle on each top.
- These Keto Pizza Dippers are the perfect school lunch idea to send with your elementary school OR high school student during school time. It helps to encourage healthy eating with your kids so they will avoid the school cafeteria food. Don’t forget to include a little bit of fresh fruit so your student has a complete lunch.
- When you pull the Keto Pizza Dippers out of the oven, use a pastry brush to brush on some garlic butter. Use 2 cloves garlic in some melted butter. This extra step takes these pizza dippers over the top!
- The chewy dough can be transformed
- Your gluten free child doesn’t have to miss out on having pizza lunchables with this perfect lunch box meal! It is a great way to save a ton of money in the long run to as you will not have to spend as much at the grocery store.
- Make these Keto Pizza Dippers in a mini muffin tin to serve as the perfectly easy appetizer for your next game day! Use a truffle scoop to portion out the dough easier.
