Are you looking for great keto snacks that are also gluten free but will not stall your weight loss?
I know it is sometimes difficult to find the low carb snacks that actually taste good AND that are good for you so I have come up with this variety of suggestions so you will be prepared next time you need a snack!
When you are following a low carb diet, you want to make sure you are reaching for high-protein snacks as they will keep you fuller longer and support lean muscle mass.
There are so many options that I want to share with you that are my top choices both with recipes and products you can purchase online or at grocery stores.
First lets look at the options you have available through some of my easy low carb gluten free recipes!
These easy recipes are great options so you are prepared when snack cravings hit! Most can be frozen on a baking sheet then individually wrapped for longer preservation.
These are of course great for breakfast but they also make a great keto snack.
They remind me of a cross between a cake and a donut and they are loaded with 5 grams of protein per bar.
A recipe makes 8 bars and they keep well. These are also enjoyed by my whole family including my very picky kids!
You can switch up the berries or put in sugar free chocolate chips if you want! These are freezable.
Just thaw overnight in the fridge or warm up in a 350F oven for 5 minutes.
When I say gummies do you think of the sugar filled gummy bears?
Well these are not only sugar free but loaded with a ton of protein that you will for sure hit your protein macros!
One batch made in an 8×8 pan and then cut into squares, makes these easy on-the-go sugar free treats a top choice!
Made with only 3 simple ingredients, they are one of my favorite keto snacks! They are also gut friendly too which is helpful in repairing your gut to optimal health!
These keep in an airtight container in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
I do not recommend freezing these. They will hold together for an afternoon in a lunchbox but may sweat if they get warmed up.
They are a mini version of the ones you remember before going healthy!
A great chewy texture and the cinnamon swirl really take these to another level!
At 8g protein PER BAGEL you will be feeling satisfied and happy after just one, but who is counting! You can also change it up and skip the cinnamon and add in chocolate chips or berries if you wish!
These are definitely freezable! Make sure you flash freeze them first on a baking sheet before transferring to a larger freezer bag.
When I individually wrap them in plastic wrap THEN put in a large freezer bag I have found this helps to prevent freezer burn.
These are the most simple of all recipes as it requires only a little bit of time but yields a delicious keto snack not only at home but for your next road trip too!
You can change up the cheese and meat so just imagine the combinations you can come up with!
I love having these alongside some olives, pickles and maybe some pork rinds on the side for crunch!
My kids love to make their own combinations with these meat roll-ups. I prefer some pepperjack cheese and corned beef in particular!
You can use either shredded cheese as pictured or sliced cheese. Keep it simple and use whatever you have on hand!
These Low Carb Sunflower Seed crackers are gluten free and low carb but ALSO nut free for those who need it. Perfect for kids lunches as so many schools have gone nut free!
It really works best in a food processor so make sure you have one so you can grind up the sunflower seeds to a fine powder.
With only five simple ingredients, these crackers come together quickly and are perfect alone or dipped into a nut butter.
You can also enjoy these on a meat and cheese platter with some pepperoni, salami, cheddar cheese and some olives. My kids love these just as is for a quick snack anytime.
Sunflower seeds contain a ton of folate and healthy oils!
I use parmesan in this recipe to help hold it together and give it a great crispness! Try a new flavor combination by adding in some onion flakes or onion powder to make onion keto chips!
These are only a few of the great low-carb snacks I have recipes of on my site. You can search for your ingredient in the search bar above to see more!
Now lets explore some of your options you have for keto-friendly snacks that you can purchase!
I have tried all of these keto snacks myself and truly love them!
I only recommend the best keto snacks and never hype up something unless I truly love it!
My ultimate go-to for a keto protein snack is my favorite snack bar by Taste Cando, Keto Krisp bars!
They are a great way to get in some healthy fats as they use MCT oil in them, as well as providing the “candy bar” feel while eating them.
They have a soft bite to them and are not hard and sticky like most protein bars do.
The texture is a cross between a cookie and a granola bar. A little bit of a crumble, kind of like granola bars, but melt in your mouth crumbs that taste amazing!
Most all of them have 4-5 net carbs each and are all high protein. They definitely have fewer carbs than grabbing a regular granola bar, thats for sure!
So far I have my favorites for different reasons, depending on my taste buds, mood and cravings, but they are all delicious!
This one is my favorite because it reminds me of a nut butter and jelly sandwich. This one features blackberry, one of my favorite berries!
They do not contain any artificial sweeteners but use sugar alcohols instead.
They fit in perfectly with a gluten free diet since they are all gluten free and are made primarily with almond flour.
- Butter & Salt – which tastes like a rice krispie treat!
- Almond Butter Chocolate Chip – which really taste like chocolate chip cookies!
- Chocolate Mint – which tastes like a peppermint patty!
- Dark Chocolate Almond – which tastes like a fudgy truffle with almonds
and so many more flavors that I have even made some recipes of!
Just search “keto krisp” in the search bar above to find them or click these quick links:

I know before I went low carb I enjoyed snacking on granola quite a bit! The problem with it is that granola is made primarily of oatmeal. Unfortunately oats are off the menu because of their high carb content.
I have been so lucky to have found a brand of the best low carb keto Granola so I can keep up with my favorite snack and still stay on my low-carb diet. It is from Kiss My Keto and features three different flavors to choose from: salted caramel, strawberry vanilla and peanut butter!
Here is my review of the Salted Caramel.
All varieties come in this size bag and are loaded with good keto nuts and coconut flakes and has at least 4 g of protein per serving. It has the mouth feel of the real thing so you do not feel like you are missing out on the oats filled granola!
They also feature chocolate dipped keto bars as well which taste like a candy bar!!
Maybe I don’t want to meal prep or buy pre-made healthy snacks, now what?
Maybe you fall into the third category of someone who doesn’t want to meal prep and you do not want to purchase pre-made bite-sized snacks, so this list is for you!
Here are some of my whole food suggestions that you can easily find at almost any grocery store that you can easily pick up when you need them. I noticed that lately some gas stations also stock some of these for a quick snack on the road, so even better to help you stay on your keto diet plan!
- Hard-boiled eggs are available in most deli sections of stores and they are ready to eat as is. This is a great way to get a shot of protein with 0 grams of carbs and fill you up!
- Eden Pumpkin Seeds are my favorite go to crunchy snack that is loaded with high quality protein and fiber that cannot be beat! They keep well in your bag or desk at work and come in a variety of flavors such as dry roasted and spicy! Made with just organic pumpkin seeds and sea salt, these contain 10 g protein per 1/4 cup! That is the best way to get a shot of protein in a small volume!
- Cheese sticks are another delicious snack you can have that has minimal carbs and gets in your protein!
- Speaking of cheese, another favorite salty cheese snack is called Moon Cheese! They are little crunchy cheese balls that are made of all cheese! All natural ingredients with no added sugar with 1 – 2 g carbs per serving!
- Another quick one is to dip pork rinds in sour cream! Of course you could bump up the flavor with a sprinkle of garlic powder and/or onion flakes mixed into the sour cream, but I am a purist and like it just plain.
- Celery sticks dipped in cream cheese is also another quick snack! Get creative and sprinkle in some “Everything But The Bagel Seasoning” to bump up the flavor!
I hope I have helped give you some ideas so far on how you can stay to your ketogenic diet while still remaining gluten free! Having these snacks on hand will help curb your sweet tooth without sugar or fulfill your salty craving without sabotaging your carbs for the day!
