Easy Keto Chow Low Carb Recipes (with videos)
When I first started Keto I wish I knew about these amazing shakes, as they are not only delicious alone, but also fit into my keto diet recipes!
I have been on a search for something quick that doesn’t taste gritty, chalky or off and has a lot of protein.
You know, those protein powder shakes you have to get your blender out everytime to mix up or they are not right?
These Keto Chow Shakes are far from that!
I just mix it up in a few minutes right in my shaker bottle I got in the Starter Kit and put in the fridge for tomorrow!

The best part is you can customize it to your needs!
How perfect since sometimes I want to go with less fat and net carbs depending on what I have planned for my day.
If I get carried away with my recipe creations and do not have any keto chicken thighs, or keto pad thai leftovers, it saves me everytime!
I know that in the long run, making sure I get in my electrolytes and protein with a quick shake, keeps me from getting the keto flu.
Let’s make a Keto Chow Shake Together!
First you will need a blender bottle, or a lidded jar.
Then choose your fat source, if you are using one.
I always choose heavy whipping cream, but you could easily use melted butter, mct oil, or avocado oil.
The Keto Chow Crew adds in a special card with a chart giving you the calorie breakdown for each option to make it easier.
Next step is putting the Keto Chow Powder on top of the fat source in the bottle.
The last step is adding in some warm, not boiling, water on top.
I use warm from the tap.
If you want to, boil some water then let it sit for a bit to cool.
Now add approximately 18 – 20 oz of the warm water.
I would stay in this range for the best consistency.
Anymore than 20 oz and the strong flavours are muted and its not as good.
Now shake it up!
I shake mine vigourously for about a minute.
Now let it sit in the fridge overnight, or at least 6-8 hours.
This helps the ingredients meld together, and also improves the taste as a cold beverage.
You could try it as a creamer once its all set up, but the warm water initially helps it to dissolve.
Here is my review of the Keto Chow Caramel Macchiato Shake.
What I love about these shakes is that your taste buds will pair the flavor you chose with a memory you have!
That is what I have found to be true, as you see in my keto chow review of the caramel macchiato shake.
This one in particular really does taste like I just ate some caramel popcorn!
What a great choice to make as a dessert with fewer carbs on my keto journey instead of some carb laden popcorn!
Plus you will get a shot of complete nutrition too!
What are some other ways I can enjoy these Keto Chow Shakes on the ketogenic diet?
When you look at the final product, especially when you use heavy cream, it looks like just that, heavy cream!
What recipes do you have that use heavy cream that can use some extra nutrition and flavor?
The one that came to me right away was french toast!
Just mix the prepared Keto Chow Shake with two eggs in a bowl and dip your Keto Bread in it!
This bread that is featured is the Keto Hawaiian Bread that I made in this video here.
The bread is fluffy like angel food cake, but only a touch sweet like hawaiian bread.
It gave me the banana flavor that I wanted with my breakfast without the need for any bananas!

Just think of all of the flavor possibilities with this easy keto chow low carb recipe idea!
Even though I only use 1/2 cup of the prepared shake in this one, I ended up drinking the rest with my breakfast.
You could also save the rest for a snack later that day.

Another idea I had of using the Keto Chow Keto Meal Replacement shake is to use it as the heavy cream in my keto ice cream recipe.
One thing I miss on my weight loss journey is apple pie a la mode, or a.k.a. with ice cream!
The Keto Chow Apple Pie powdered drink mix was the perfect answer for this!
I used my own homemade keto sweetened condensed milk recipe and combined it with the shake.
Find the ful recipe for making the keto apple pie ice cream here!
It is very simple and can even work if you do not have an ice cream machine.
Just look at that texture and knowing that you have the added benefit of healthy fats and a ton of protein.
You could choose a pumpkin caramel flavor in fall to dollop it on top of a cup of pumpkin spice coffee.
Or add in a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the banana one to make it a chocolate banana ice cream!
Lots of possibilites here you have to make a quick keto ice cream and make sure it is creamy and loaded with protein!
Next time I am going to try the Cookies and Cream flavor with some crushed up Keto Chocolate Sandwich Cookies!
I am overall a big fan of the Keto Chow Shakes and look to incorporate them into more recipes of mine!
